Promises for the Future, Practiced Today — WeVow x ESDlife

A wedding planning app that needed to feel like more than a checklist. We reframed the entire planning process as the first act of a lifelong vow — and 203,000 people watched it and cried a little.

未來諾言 今日實踐 — PROMISES FOR THE FUTURE, PRACTICED TODAY.
Wedding planning apps sell convenience. WeVow needed to sell something harder to articulate — the feeling that choosing to plan together, carefully and lovingly, is already the marriage beginning.

The creative reframe: "I take you to be my lawfully wedded wife/husband" isn't a promise made at the altar. It's being fulfilled right now — in every vendor shortlist reviewed together at midnight, every checklist item ticked off, every decision made with the other person in mind. WeVow isn't a tool. It's where the vow starts.

I directed a high-production emotional brand film following a couple from engagement announcement through the full planning journey — shot with a dreamlike, airy visual language that felt vast and unhurried, like the future they were building together. The Master KV placed the couple by the open sea: organised planning as serenity, not stress.

The functional layer ran underneath the emotion without breaking it — AI Smart Matching for vendors, shared couple accounts, wedding countdown checklists, digital invitations — each feature reframed as an act of devotion rather than a utility.

203,000+ YouTube views — viral reach for a wedding app launch campaign.
Successfully drove downloads on both App Store and Google Play by positioning WeVow as an essential partner in a couple's commitment journey, not just another planning tool. Reinforced WeVow as the top-of-mind wedding preparation app for modern Hong Kong couples.
